Gardening Over Winter

While you can’t get out and dig in the garden during the winter months, there is still plenty of planning and preparation that can take place for the upcoming growing season. You can also take this time to focus on caring for indoor plants and gardens or buying some plants to remind you of sunny mornings in your outdoor garden!

  • Interaction in the garden is a good thing. Use your outside living space to create what makes you happy whether it’s healing plants for inhalation or whether it’s for delineation or to create a private sitting space. Ahronian Landscaping & Design in Holliston, encourages you to explore plants to take up some of your lawn areas and you will use less water and chemicals while increasing your quality of outside living.
  • Do you write garden notes? You likely keep a journal, whether you know it or not, if you have a camera on your phone. Even if you never wrote it down somewhere (gee, do you think I meant it?) you probably have snapped a photo of what worked and what can be improved.
